Desde mis comienzos como guía de pesca, en 1992, he remado botes de todaslas grandes marcas, en el río Henry's Fork en Idaho y en otros ríos deMontana. Un Hyde, desde 1992 al '96, un Clackacraft desde el '97 al 2002 yfinalmente un Ro Skiff desde el 2003 al presente. Por mi experiencia, novolvería a comprarme un Drift Boat de borda altas.
Since my first guide season in 1992, I´ve rowed high sided drift boats from all the most popular brands and finally purchased a Ro skiff in 2003. Based on my experience and the rivers we use primarily, I would neverpurchase another high sided boat.

The skiff is a low sided fiber glass boat, handmade with multiples layers offiber glass and fiberglass cloths, without any other filler material. The skiffs´ low walls of nearly uniform hieght present minimal resistance to the wind.
Construido con un piso flexible, el cual cede a la fuerza del agua, formandoun arco concavo que deja pasar el agua y concentra la fricción en lasaristas que están reforzadas. Por lo tanto es mas fácil manejarlo. Asientos para dos pescadores y un guia; barras de protección para pararse ypescar sin peligro en un piso sólido; sistema de ancla; compartimiento cerrado protejido del agua; compartimiento para dos cañas totalmente armada. No necesitan mantenimiento.
The Skiff´s floor flexes with the force of the water, creating a concave arc funnelling the water and converting the reinforced chines to act like two keels. For this reason the skiff is so much easier to row. The Skiff offers chairs for two anglers and 1 guide, thigh braces to standup and fish trouble free from a level floor; anchor system, three closedstorage compartments; and protected storage for 2 fully assembled rods. They do not require maintenance.
