RO Drift Boats was founded in 1995 in St. Anthony, Idaho, by Roy Eddins, an avid angler with a deep passion for fishing the rivers of the Rocky Mountains. Roy was not just a fisherman but also an innovator, constantly seeking new ways to enhance the design and functionality of drift boats. His dedication to quality craftsmanship and innovation laid the foundation for what would become a trusted name in the drift boat industry.

In 2006, Roy’s eldest son, Robert relocated the operation to Bozeman, Montana—placing the company closer to some of the most iconic fishing waters in the West. Under his leadership, RO Drift Boats has continued to evolve, introducing cutting-edge designs and features that cater to a wide range of fishing styles and conditions.
